Description

Nu-Aire Model NU-5500 air-jacketed CO2 incubator.

The chamber walls are directly heated by foil heating elements attached to the sides, top and bottom of the chamber.  Air is constantly circulating within the chamber using a continuous operating fan / motor / blower within the upper air plenum amd sidewall duct system.  This airflow is distributed uniformly and at very low velocity.  A large replaceable HEPA filter cartridge continually filters the air that circulates within the chamber.  The IR CO2 sensor provide very stable drift-free CO2 control.
